Bespoke leatherwork for Pink Gin VI, built by Baltic Yachts with interiors by Design Unlimited. Ed Tanner worked with the interior design team to develop leather elements around the yacht’s individual spaces.

Developed with the interior

The commission extended across custom leather pieces, wall panelling and functional accessories. Each element was tailored to the proportions and material character of the yacht, bringing the leatherwork into the wider interior scheme.

From handrails to interior surfaces

The project includes woven leather handrails, alongside headboard and desk details shown in the photographs. These different applications bring together leather’s qualities as a surface to hold, a covering and a feature within a room.

Made for the setting

Working closely with the design team allowed the pieces to be considered as part of the interior from the outset. The emphasis was on careful making and a consistent finish across details with different shapes and uses.
