Our premium quality pit-tanned European Saddle hides offer a product of beauty to artisans of leather working. Superior Italian, full grain, aniline dyed-through bull shoulder hides, with a fine smooth waxy handle. Tanned for weeks in a ‘Liquor’ using naturally occurring tannins found in Chestnut and Mimosa barks. These hides are renowned for there smooth grain with subtle growth marks and natural variations. Ages with grace and develops a rich patina with time and use. Recommended for low to moderate traffic areas.
